Merangsang Pertumbuhan Akar dengan Bawang Merah

Untuk tanaman yang mau di stek atau cangkok, guna mempercepat pertumbuhan akar maka olesilah bagian yang bakal masuk kedalam tanah atau mau dibungkus tanah dengan bawang merah, niscaya tanaman akan cepat berakar dan tumbuh dengan baik.

Untuk tanaman yang sudah hidup lembutkanlah 1 siung bawang merah dan campurkan dengan air 100-300 ml air dan semprotkan merata pada tanaman bagian daun hingga batang dan akarnya.

Untuk perbanyakan dengan biji, rendamlah biji ke dalam larutan air yang dicampur bawang merah yang telah dihaluskan selama 2 – 8 jam. Kemudian taburkan biji/benih secara merata ke media tanam. Niscaya benih akan lebih cepat tumbuh.

Air Bekas Cuci Beras
Daripada air beras dibuang begitu saja, saya selalu memanfaatkannya untuk menyiram tanaman. Jangan kena daun ya karena akan membuat bercak putih pada daun. Cukup siramkan langsung pada tanah.

Air cucian beras mengandung Vitamin B1 mempunyai peranan di dalam metabolisme tanaman dalam hal mengkonversikan karbohidrat menjadi energi untuk menggerakkan aktifitas di dalam tanaman, sehingga dengan demikian tanaman yang mengalami stres karena kondisi bare root (pengiriman tanpa media) ataupun dikarenakan pemindahan tanaman ke media baru, segera melakukan aktifitas metabolisme untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan ataupun media yang baru. Untuk tanaman yang sudah sehatpun akan menjadi lebih tidak gampang stres.

Air Teh
Kalau semalam Anda membuat teh dan lupa meminumnya. Jangan buang teh itu karena sangat bermanfaat. Salah satu manfaatnya dapat menyuburkan tanaman. Caranya cukup dengan menyiramkan bagian akar dan tanah dengan menggunakan air teh basi tersebut.

Bila Anda gemar meminum kopi, jangan buang ampasnya. Ampas kopi kaya kandungan Nitrogen, Fosfor dan Potasium (NPK) yang dibutuhkan tanaman.
